Reflections on 2025 

As we reflect on 2025 with The Gathering Church, we find it 

difficult to pinpoint a single highlight. 

What resonates most profoundly with us is the combination of 

acceptance, understanding, and unwavering support we share.  

We can express our needs, joys, and sorrows without fear of judgment. 

We are encouraged to be vulnerable, knowing that  we are enveloped by love and empathy.  

When we first joined the group, we were met with open arms and warm smiles which immediately made us feel welcome. It was then we realised this was not just a gathering of people; it was a sanctuary where each person came with their own unique stories, struggles, and triumphs. Age was never a barrier; rather, our life shared experiences knit us together. 

The atmosphere during prayer times is one of mutual respect and understanding. This is where we find solace - amidst heartfelt our prayers. 

We have uplifting discussions that dig deeper than surface-level concerns. Our discussions often lead us to explore our own beliefs and how we can fully live them out. The collective wisdom of the group is a treasure, and being a part of these conversations has deepened our relationship with God and enhanced our understanding of scripture. 

One of the most rewarding aspects of The Gathering Church is the profound support we offer one another. This may be through comforting words, shared experiences, or simply being a listening ear - we lift each other up in times of need.
